ACTIVITIES

SLEEPING BEAR DUNES NATIONAL PARK

Located along a 35-mile stretch of Lake Michigan's eastern coastline, the Sleeping Bear Dunes are immense, glacially-formed sand dunes that tower hundreds of feet above Lake Michigan and offer hiking, beaches and incredible views of the lake.

LEELANAU TRAIL

Multi-use paved trail for activities like biking, running and walking that runs from downtown Traverse City to Suttons Bay. It is part of the larger TART trail system around Northern Michigan.

BIKE RENTALS

There are many opportunities to rent normal or electric bikes in and around Traverse City. A couple of our favorite rides include biking from downtown Traverse City along the Leelanau Trail to Farm Club, or riding along Lake Michigan from Glen Arbor to the Sleeping Bear Dunes!

A historic, picturesque district in Leland, Michigan that features weathered fishing shanties, smokehouses, docks, and charter boats along the Leland River. It offers a variety of historical buildings now housing tourist shops and eateries alongside a working fishery.
