TRAVEL + STAY
ARRIVING
We recommend flying into Cherry Capital Airport (TVC), which is a 20-minute drive from downtown Traverse City.
If easier, other airport options in the surrounding area include Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) or Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) in Grand Rapids, which are 4 and 2.5 hours away from Traverse City by car, respectively.
GETTING AROUND
Two-way transportation will be provided to the Welcome Party and Wedding from the hotel. More specific shuttle details will follow closer to the event date.
Uber and Lyft may be available on a limited basis.
ACCOMODATIONS
We have secured a room block at Hotel Indigo in downtown Traverse City. The hotel is within walking distance of shops and restaurants downtown and the public beach. Please use this link to book.
There are also AirBnb and VRBO rentals in the area. If you prefer to stay in a rental, we highly recommend booking something in downtown Traverse City near Hotel Indigo so you can take advantage of the transportation provided to the Welcome Party and Wedding.

There are many opportunities to rent normal or electric bikes in and around Traverse City. A couple of our favorite rides include biking from downtown Traverse City along the Leelanau Trail to Farm Club, or riding along Lake Michigan from Glen Arbor to the Sleeping Bear Dunes!
A historic, picturesque district in Leland, Michigan that features weathered fishing shanties, smokehouses, docks, and charter boats along the Leland River. It offers a variety of historical buildings now housing tourist shops and eateries alongside a working fishery.
